The 32nd Cat Fancier’s Cat Show

March 17, 2012 by

On Saturday, March 31st, 2012 the 32nd Annual Cat Fanciers Association, All-Breed Cat Show will open at the San Mateo County Event Center at 1346 Saratoga Drive in San Mateo, California. This event opens at 10am to 5pm.

At this event felines nationwide will be completing and displaying for the Best in Show title. This cat show is being sponsored by the Crow Canyon Cat Club, as well as Dr. Elseys’ Precious Cat Products. At this event there will be more than two hundred breeds of cats and more than forty-one breeds of kitten represented. These breeds include curly-haired Rex, Slinky Siamese, Fluffy Persian, Hairless Sphynx, and many more. Animals will be judged on looks, ability, and temperament.

Spectators are invited to see all the animals up close and personal, while they are waiting between competitions. The competitions are all juried and will require set up time between rounds. This is a good opportunity for spectators to learn more about the breeds, meet the animals and judge their personalities, and maybe do a little cat shopping for your kitty. There will also be door prizes, crafts, toys, gifts, and gadgets for the cat lover to browse and buy as well.

Proceeds from this event will go to the Northern California Animal Rescue Group for the purpose of researching feline health. Printing companies may have completed the brochure printing for these breeders as tickets are now on sale for $9.00 per person.
