Spring Fling Hats off to Education 10th Anniversary

The ‘Spring Fling Hats off to Education 10th anniversary’ event will take place on March 2, 2013 at the San Mateo Convention Center. Spring Fling is a community wide fundraising event to benefit the seven elementary and middle schools in the San Carlos School District.
Featured at the fundraiser is a silent auction as well as a live auction. The live auction begins at 8:30 p.m. Participants will use a yellow bid card which shows the numbers on both sides, and the highest bid buys the item with the auctioneer noting the number on the card.
The silent auction will consist of items on tables and will be sold by silent bidding. That bidding starts at 6:00 p.m. and runs until the tables close. There will be over 500 items in the silent auction including personal car and fitness, home and garden, arts and crafts, sports and memorabilia, lessons and services, food and beverage, family fun along with other great items.
The Spring Fling 2013 Raffle tickets are now on sale. Fantastic prizes include a Maui summer vacation and a 32GB iPad mini along with over 50 other prizes. The cost is $20.00 per ticket and may be purchased through the school’s raffle coordinators. Spring Fling invitations were also mailed with raffle tickets for purchase.
Local printing companies frequently assist fundraising events with handling jobs like poster printing. Posters are placed prominently in public spaces in order to build up a buzz about any event, and will contribute to an increased attendance.
