Plans already afoot for November harvest festival

The annual Harvest Festival Original Art & Craft Show will take place November 9 – 11 at the San Mateo County Event Center. Hundreds of vendors will offer over 24,000 unique handmade American art and craft items. Attendees will find original art, jewelry, clothing, wood products, ceramics, and photography. There will also be food vendors offering specialty foods and snacks.

Strolling entertainment will take place throughout the three-day fun-packed festival. A kids’ activity center will provide hours of fun for the young visitors. A ‘kidszone’ will give the children an opportunity to participate in craft activities.

The Harvest Festival Original Art & Craft Show touts one of the largest marketing budgets of all similar types of events. It utilizes media and print advertising, merchandising, direct mail marketing, website promotion, and partnerships to maximize exposure.

Exhibitors, for whom space is available, must meet established criteria relative to handmade product requirements and category limitations. Exhibit information is available on the event website.

Events of this magnitude frequently utilize the services of printing companies for projects such as banner and poster printing. Banners are a useful method of drawing attention to various components of the event as well as exhibitors. They can be hung indoors or outdoors. Poster printing is also a common request, as the use of posters to promote an event is an economical and effective tool for creating awareness.
