Harvest Festival Original Art & Craft Show returns to San Mateo

September 26, 2012 by

Scheduled over Veteran’s Day weekend, the Harvest Festival Original Art & Craft Show presents live stage entertainment, celebrity appearances, shopping, art demonstrations, and tasty food sampling. Strolling performers will entertain the crowds as they stroll through festival areas.

Great entertainment is planned, including Tom Rigney and Flambeau headlining as they present their fiddling and Cajun style songs. Tapping feet will be seen and heard as attendees watch the Barbary Coast Cloggers perform their specialized step dancing.

Gingerbread cookie decorating will be going on in the KidZone at the festival allowing children the opportunity to do the decorating.

A special program, Harvest Festival Shopping Bags, provides a chance for the public to help the local Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA. The entity is a non-profit humane organization with the purpose of promoting kind and healthy relations between animals and humans. It provides care to animals in need and will be hosting a mobile adoption segment on Saturday and Sunday. Visitors can purchase a bag for $1 with proceeds benefiting PHS/SPCA.

Well know broadcaster Liam Mayclem will be appearing at the festival. Mayclem hosts ‘Foodie Chap’ and ‘Eye on the Bay’. A special drawing will take place awarding the winner with a Harvest Festival Food Tour and a $500 shopping spree with Mayclem.

Business card printing is an essential step for vendors wishing to become well-known and possibly solicit future business. Business cards can be placed in the booth or handed out to visitors for future reference and ordering information.

Visit the Harvest Festival Original Art & Craft Show website for complete information on the event, which runs November 8 – 11.
