March 12, 2012 by

On Saturday, April 7th, 2012 Peter Cottontail will be making an appearance at “The Williams Barn” located at 1950 Sycamore Drive in San Marcos, California. The Williams Barn, a San Marcos landmark for more than 40 years, is a located in Walnut Grove Park. This event will fun from 8:00am until 10:00am.

This year Peter Cottontail will be joining the good folks in San Marcos for an Easter Breakfast at The Williams Barn. This is a family event featuring mouthwatering morning sausage and pancakes prepared by the “Big Bunnies” little helpers. Families will share stacks of flaps loaded with delicious special maple syrup and custom prepared sausages with coffee and other beverages. After breakfast, Peter Cottontail will be on the grounds for the Holiday Easter Egg Hunt so children age toddler to Grade 5 can look for the Easter eggs hidden around the park that are filled with prizes.

Peter, the bunny, hid those eggs before the festivities began. Then after children are invited to stop and have their photos taken with Peter Cottontail before joining in with the other children to complete an Easter craft. Print companies probably worked hard getting these stationery printing jobs completed on time for the children to enjoy them. Color your own Easter picture and bring along a basket or bag for each child, as this year there is a special prize for every child who joins the hunt.

Admission suggested for this event is $5.00 family donation. Breakfast costs $5.00 per adult and $4 for youth, ten and under. For additional information call The Williams Barn at 760-744-9000 or visit their website.
