Date confirmed for Harvest Festival

The San Marcos Annual Harvest Festival has been scheduled for Sunday, October 7, 2012 on Via Vera Cruz from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Admission is free for the entire event.
The San Marcos Chamber of Commerce partners with the City of San Marcos to bring the festival to the city, drawing over 30,000 visitors in doing so. The event also includes over 250 vendors featuring arts and crafts, food, gifts, and other unique items. People from across the state, as well as from neighboring regions, attend the event each year to enjoy the entertainment, shop at the craft show, buy fresh produce, and be part of the high energy day of fun. There will also be a beer garden with brews from the local Stone Brewery.
The family-friendly festival presents many activities throughout the day, including live music, kids’ games, and a classic car show. The Farmers’ Market is one of the most popular events of the festival allowing visitors to sample and purchase fresh produce.
San Marcos print companies often work with participants and organizers of these types of events, often providing printing services for the occasion. Flyer, poster, and banner printing services may berequired to help promote the event and identify the vendors and other participants.
Many large companies help sponsor the event, including the Grand Plaza, Walmart, EDCO, Markstein, and the Tri-City Medical Center. The festival brings thousands of dollars of revenue into the community each year.
