The American Dental Association (ADA) will be holding their annual convention in San Francisco October 18 – 21, 2012 at the Moscone Convention Center located on Howard Street.

The American Dental Association’s role is to provide resources for dentists and their patients. The association was formed in 1859 and is the oldest dental society in the world, as well as the largest, with over 155,000 members in the association. The ADA provides educational forums and materials and focuses on advancing the profession on all levels.

San Francisco print companies are actively involved in providing print services for the convention including banners, flyers, posters, and brochures.

The agenda is packed with interesting seminars, dining events, continuing credit courses, and fun activities. Many professional speakers are scheduled to be present throughout the convention period.

One of the evening dining events is entitled The California Experience, which is being held in the Yerba Buena Gardens, near the Moscone Center. Surrounded by the soothing sound of water and the aroma of fresh flowers, the garden party will present a memorable visit. Appetizers incorporating the diversity of the bay area, paired with wines from the region, will make for a delightful culinary experience.

San Francisco is famous for its local artisans found throughout the many neighborhoods of the city displaying their artistic talents. October will be the perfect time of year to browse the unique art at the end of a busy day.
