San Francisco hosts about to bring in the beer

March 28, 2013 by

The 30th Annual San Francisco International Beer Festival will take place at Fort Mason Center in San Francisco in almost exactly a month’s time.

Hundreds of types of beers from breweries near and far will be available, along with tasty treats from many outstanding restaurants in San Francisco. It is a chance to eat, drink, and be merry…all in the beautiful hills of San Francisco.

DJ Roy Two Thousand will provide his popular brand of music, including rock, funk, and hip hop, sure to rock the walls of the Fort once again.

Proceeds from the beer festival benefit the Telegraph Hill Cooperative Nursery School and it is the only fundraiser for the entity. Parents of the preschool students are responsible for coordinating the entire event. Calling upon the services of local printing companies makes the task a bit easier when materials are professionally produced. Banner printing is a key element to ensuring proper signage and directional guidance are presented at the venue.

The Hilton at Fisherman’s Wharf has generously provided a limited number of rooms at a discount for the beer festival attendees. Check with the hotel on availability.

Participants must be at least 21 years of age. The event coordinators strongly encourage participants to drink responsibly and to use public transportation for the safety of everyone. Also, public parking space is very limited in that area.

Tasting begins promptly at 7:00 pm on April 27, with last call at 9:30, and last pour at 9:45 pm. To purchase tickets online, visit the San Francisco International Beer Festival website. For questions, contact a representative at 877-987-6487.
