Chocoholics in for a sweet September

Hosted by the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, the upcoming 17th Annual Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival promises to be the largest one yet, with 40,000 people anticipated in attendance.

The two-day festival has many fun activities planned. A hunt for Ghirardelli Chocolate presents a fun discovery of facts about the company, with sweet treats awarded as prizes.

For ice-cream lovers, there will be an ‘Earthquake’ ice-cream-eating contest, where competitors will pit their love of ice-cream, not to mention their stomachs, against each other. A smaller version of the contest will also be available for children. There will also be a ‘Chocolate School’ featured, where Steve Genzoli, Head of Chocolate Making, will teach about the process used to make the tasty treat.

Food demonstrations, bake-off contests, and samplings from well-known restaurants as well as Ghirardelli’s will take place. A fundraising silent auction benefitting Project Open Hand is scheduled as well.

Events of this magnitude generally depend on printing services from local printers. Banner, poster, and brochure printing can be very important in the promotion of events of this nature and the entities involved. Business card printing is usually an important component in the planning for each business involved to ensure they promote their products and services.

The 17th Annual Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival is coming to Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco September 8 and 9 from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm each day. For more information about this event, or to buy tickets, visit the Chocolate Festival 2012 website or call 888-402-6252.
