The Lambs Players Theatre in San Diego has kicked off the summer season with the beloved ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ production.
The cast is made of powerful actors, singers and dancers with the musical production by Klezmer band. The cast will bring the classic songs to life of the play including ‘Tradition’, ‘Sunrise, Sunset’, ‘Little Bird, Little Chavela’, ‘To Life!’, and ‘I Were a Rich Man’.
The play takes the audience through the life of Tevye the milkman, as well as his daughters. The cast is made up of a diverse group of actors ranging from established actors to people out of college with degrees in musical theatre and other related disciplines.
The Lambs Players Theatre is located on Orange Ave on Coronado in the historic Spreckels Building. Coronado is an upscale resort island in the San Diego region. The theatre was remodeled in 1994 after a long closure.
An intimate venue, it seats 350 people in amphitheater style. The Hotel del Coronado is nearby and is one of the most beautiful hotels on the west coast. Designed in Victorian style, the ‘Del’ is famous for providing accommodations for the rich and famous. The sandy beaches are just a few steps from the front doors, and many boutique shops and several restaurants are within walking distance too.
Catalog printing is usually a standard process for theatres, as catalogs list the upcoming performances, information about the cast and band, advertisements, and sponsors.
The show will run through July 14.
