Old Town San Diego hosts 2012 Tequila Trail

Old Town San Diego will be the site for the 2012 Tequila Trail Spirits of Mexico Festival. This popular neighborhood boasts authentic Mexican cuisine restaurants, handcrafted arts and crafts throughout the area, and a robust nightlife. The event takes place on September 9, 2012.

The Tequila Trail event will showcase samples from restaurants within the Old Town area, featuring traditional Mexican dishes. The main attraction will be a huge selection of tequila brands, with bacanora and mezcal on offer as well.

Opening ceremonies for the Tequila Trail event will begin in the center of Old Town at San Diego Avenue and Twiggs. As in past event years, there will be ‘after parties’ scheduled at the conclusion of the Tequila Trail. Many favorite restaurants in the area will help keep the celebration going for visitors.

After party sponsors include Casa de Reyes, where Tequila Herradura will be featured, and Casa Guadalajara, focusing on offering Tequila Milagro. Also, Café Coyote will present Tequila Chinaco.

San Diego printing companies are working with event organizers and sponsors in providing print services for the event, including banner, brochure, and flyer printing. Once details are finalized in coming weeks, catalog printing will probably be another source of printing required from the print companies.

Tickets for the Tequila Trail Spirits of Mexico Festival will go on sale in August. Check their website for updated details and visit the Old Town San Diego Guide website for complete information on the event, as well as accommodations in the area and other attractions.
