La Jolla hosts 2012 Festival of the Arts
June 2, 2012 by Sarah
La Jolla, one of the most affluent areas in San Diego, will host the 26th Annual Festival of the Arts June 23-24 on the UC San Diego campus at Warren Field. The event is a creation of the Torrey Pines Kiwanis organization and is held to benefit San Diego residents and Sharp Rehabilitation Services. It does this through providing adaptive equipment and services to those who have sustained long-term injuries or have disabilities.
Noted as one of the most prestigious USA art shows, the Festival of the Arts event features close to 200 artists displaying award-winning art. Live entertainment takes place throughout the weekend featuring talented local musicians and performers. “Restaurant Row” will feature healthy and tasty culinary creations along with adult beverages.
San Diego County Volvo Dealers is the 2012 sponsor of the “Rolling Art” display, which features Volvo’s latest autos. Sponsorship opportunities are still available and those interested should visit the La Jolla Art Festival website for complete information.
San Diego print companies are presumably very busy working with organizers and suppliers in providing print services including flyer printing, in addition to brochure, banner, and business card printing .
The event will be open on June 23 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm and then again on June 24 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Ticket prices begin at $12, or $14 if you pay on arrival on the day, and can be purchased online through the La Jolla Art Festival website. Group pricing is also available. Parking is free for both cars and bicycles.
