Great Urban Race invites everyone to become a hero

The Great Urban Race will provide people from San Diego and further afield with an exciting and worthwhile adventure for teams this October. Comprising of two people, teams must solve twelve clues while racing through the city for the purpose of raising funds for St. Judes Children’s Hospital.

Upon registration, each participant will receive a Great Urban T-shirt, a race bib and, most importantly, a clue sheet. Refreshments will be available and the top 25 qualifying teams receive a medal with an invitation to the National Championship race. Racers over 21 years of age will receive a complimentary beer after the race.

An awards ceremony will take place after the race, with prizes being given away as well. First place will receive $300, second place takes $200, and third place will claim $100. Free registrations to other activities will also be included.

Not your typical race, this event provides exciting challenges both mentally and physically, along with the chance to explore the city in a fun way. With marketing and sponsorship opportunities available, those interested should visit the Great Urban Race website for complete information.

City events of this nature often use printing companies to provide services such as banner printing. Banners are used to mark locations and activities and are very effective for events like this, as they are generally hung high and attract attention quickly. Catalog printing and brochure printers may also be out in force.

This year’s event is scheduled for October 20 in San Diego.
