The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) will hold its 2013 convention in San Diego, California, at the San Diego Convention Center. GBTA is the largest business and travel organization in the world. It includes a network of 21,000 industry and meetings managers and providers and over $340 billion dollars in travel and business expenditures annually.

GBTA provides resources to its members such as educational opportunities and professional development, networking events, industry updates, research and advocacy.

The expo will include thousands of buyers from the travel sector as well as industry suppliers showcasing trends, new technology, tools and other professional items. An opportunity to earn the prestigious GTP certification will be offered at the event which demonstrates industry knowledge.

Vendors and exhibitors frequently work with print companies to produce needed supplies for convention events. Banner printing is a common project as vendors use banners in their booths to advertise their products and services. Business card printing is another print order as cards are distributed from the booths for the potential to develop future business.

An impressive line-up of keynote speakers is scheduled including popular singer/songwriter Jewel; former First Lake and author Laura W. Bush; and Hillary Clinton, Former Secretary of State.

Sponsor opportunities are still available for the convention. With 6,500 attendees from the business and travel industry, sponsoring provides an excellent chance for creating visibility for companies.

The convention takes place from August 4 – 7. Registration, vendor and sponsor application information is available on the GBTA website. To speak with a representative from the organization, call 703-684-0836.
