Friends benefiting Ronald McDonald House to host Second Annual Dinner
January 29, 2013 by Mark
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego will host the 2nd Annual Dinner with Friends in early March.
The fundraising event will include a tour of the facility along with a full dinner, live and silent auctions, and entertainment. A special wine grab will also be part of the fun activities of the evening.
Fundraising money generated from this event will benefit the food department of the Ronald McDonald House Charities, San Diego chapter. Food is served to families staying at the location throughout the year.
Last year’s inaugural event raised over $8,000 for the fund. The event organizers are hoping to exceed that amount with this year’s event.
Many generous companies and sponsors have donated their products and services to ensure the success of this event. Stone Brewing Co. and Shadow Mountain Vineyards have provided beverages, while appetizers and dinner are being prepared by @MyurbanEats. The Cupcakery will provide its very special custom designed desserts.
Ronald McDonald House Charities provides lodging for families of children suffering from and being treated for serious illnesses or injuries at the Rady Children’s Hospital. As families come from across the country for treatment that can last for a short period or can extend into prolonged duration, the Ronald McDonald Houses provide a comforting environment in which to stay.
Poster printing is a frequent order for fundraising efforts, as posters can be distributed in advance of the event to create awareness and interest. They can also be mounted on walls, doors, windows, and pillars throughout the area to attract attention.
More information about this March 2 event, which begins at 5:00 pm, can be found on the Ronald McDonald House Charities website.
