Beer and Food Festival served up in San Diego this weekend

The 4th Annual Mission Valley Craft Beer and Food Festival will take place in San Diego this weekend.

Vowing to bring their ‘A’ game, local chefs will participate in the food vending section preparing scrumptious food items to go with the many types of beer found at this annual event.

With 30 breweries and 20 chefs, thousands of people are expected to attend this festival. Add in three bands and a fundraising partnership with Wounded Warrior Homes, and the day looks like it is going to be memorable.

Wounded Warrior Homes is a non-profit organization serving military folk who have been medically discharged with either traumatic brain injury or post-traumatic stress disorder. The mission is to provide resources, affordable housing, and assistance for independent living.

The festival layout has been improved by keeping lines from backing up and allowing everyone an opportunity to enjoy the breweries and chef creations. The seating area has been expanded to accommodate large crowds.

Commemorative tasting glasses will be available. A VIP hour with limited tickets will take place at the beginning of the event, and VIP ticket holders will receive a special T-shirt.

An after-party in the Reef Lounge, complete with beverage and food specials, will be hosted and will feature another local band.

Local printing companies will be called upon to assist with marketing materials and signage. Posters should be placed throughout the region to announce the upcoming event. Banner printing is an important part of signage to direct attendees to specific areas of the event.

It is all planned for this Sunday, March 24.
