San Clemente to host Family Arbor Day

Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens is proud to once announce that it will be hosting a San Clemente Family Arbor Day event later this month. Attendees will be treated to a variety of presentations given by local and professional tree lovers, with families and people of all ages are welcome to join in the fun.

Arbor Day is dedicated once a year to public tree planting and a general awareness of the importance of trees in our ecosystem. People plant trees to replenish those cut down for use in a variety of human pursuits. Casa Romantica, the venue, is a house that is owned by San Clemente Redevelopment Agency.

The centre is dedicated to fostering an interest in trees and flowers to insure they continue to flourish throughout California for the foreseeable future.

The Family Arbor Day event will be held Saturday, March 15th at the Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens in San Clemente, and will consist of four presentations for those who wish to attend.

Sessions up for viewing are Casa Story Time, (from 9:00 am to 11:30 am), a Presentation on Trees, Climate and Community, (from 10:00 am to 10:30 am), a presentation by the Director of Gardens, (10:30 am to 11:15 am) and a tree planting ceremony (11:00 am to noon). Admission is free, and it should be a perfect opportunity for picture-taking, which can be used for poster printing.
