Saturday to be A Day to Remember

San Bernardino’s metal and hardcore music fans won’t want to miss an upcoming all-day concert put on by hardcore/pop punk band A Day to Remember this weekend.

The band has titled this musical extravaganza the ‘Self Help Festival’. Over a dozen bands, including Of Mice and Men, Bring Me the Horizon, and A Day to Remember will take to the stage.

Plenty of poster printing has been done for the screen-printed posters in the VIP ticket bundles. Also included are front-of-the-line passes, which include an invitation to a meet and greet with ADTR, a laminate, and access to the VIP area.

The unique name for the festival, Self Help, was inspired by A Day to Remember band members. Lead singer Jeremy McKinnon has reported that after a conversation with friends, he and the other band members tried to come up with a name for the festival that would depict the way fans feel after attending their concerts. They had heard that as a rule fans were uplifted and felt better about life in general. The phrase, Self Help, was decided upon as it not only represented those fans’ euphoria but was an apt description of the whole music genre.

The music will start March 22, at the National Orange Show Events Center. Doors will open at 1:00 pm with performances starting at 2:00 pm.
