Well-known comic to bring laughter to Sacramento

A popular stand-up comedian is about to touch down in Sacramento for an evening of good, clean fun.

In just over one week’s time, Brian Regan will be arriving at the Community Center Theatre. A local printing company might well be creating posters and flyers right now to drum up attendance at this family-friendly laugh fest.

Regan is known for his ability to make even the simplest of experiences entertaining and dramatic. Some of his most popular stories have included personal recollections of visiting the eye doctor, navigating his way through the airport, and trying to decide how many cookies he should eat in one sitting. Attendees can expect to be highly amused as he shares these and other anecdotes and amplifies his performance with exaggerated facial expressions.

The funnyman has been a favorite among comedy fans since his debut in 1995. The material he presents is suitable for audience members of all ages, from senior citizens down to young children. He has made numerous appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, where he first gained attention at the national level, and has produced two CD recordings of his jokes.

Sacramento is just one of the dozens of cities Regan will be visiting during his comedy tour this year. In total, he will be giving shows in more than 80 locations across the United States.

Regan will be appearing in Sacramento on Sunday, September 22. The performance will begin at 7:00 pm. Prospective attendees may call (916) 808-5181 for tickets.

The Community Center Theatre is located at 1301 L Street.
