Metro Chamber staying active in August

Thanks to the upcoming luncheon, the Metro Sacramento Chamber of Commerce has once again made it possible for members to network with one another in a more relaxed setting. The activity doesn’t end there, however, with the Sacramento Area Sustainable Business Awards being held in early September as well.

The first of these meet-ups takes place this afternoon, August 24, with the Metro Chamber Power Lunch. Going from noon until 1:30 pm and being hosted in Roseville at Buca di Beppo, this is an excellent opportunity to make connections the old-fashioned way. In light of the fact that the costs have been set at a mere $20 per person, the opportunity to acquire a few extra contacts is something that should not be overlooked.

Meanwhile, a wide assortment of printing services will no doubt be asked of printing companies and brochure printer for the Sacramento Area Sustainable Business Awards, scheduled for September 6. Starting in the morning at 8:00 am and concluding at noon, the chamber will be acknowledging the accomplishments of various businesses as it relates to sustainability. With categories like Pollution Prevention, Water Conservation, Green Building, and Energy Conservation listed, there is no shortage of options available to people here.

When workshops like ‘How to Green Your Marketing Plan through Social Media’ and ‘Get a Better, Cheaper, Cleaner Bottom Line’ are also taken into account, it is not difficult to see why attendees may be interested in putting in an appearance here. In any case, it is beyond question that organizers have been thorough in preparing for this one.
