HalloWind Ghoulapalooza promises to serve up a hauntingly good time

The 2nd Annual HalloWind Ghoulapalooza, sponsored by Wind Youth Services, will whoosh by in time for Halloween, featuring a costume contest, food, drinks and dancing as part of the evening’s entertainment.

The costume contest, which will be presided over by Kitty O’Neal, carries with it a huge $250 prize. Spur-of-the-moment fun is also no surprise at the HalloWind Ghoulapalooza. Last year, a conga line was even formed. Proceeds from the evening will go to support Wind Youth Services – an organization focusing on homeless youth.

Large annual fundraising events and activities often utilize a number of printing services to raise awareness within the community and surrounding area about the activity. Poster printing, flyer printing, or even banner printing may be used to advertise the fundraising activity. Brochure printers may also be used to print out pamphlets and other information about the cause of the fundraising activity.

John and Peg Poswell co-chair the annual HalloWind Ghoulapalooza each year. John stated:

“Children are not beyond hope. If we can get a child off the street early, back into school, helped by people who care, we can save a life. That’s why Peg and I support Wind.”

About the Halloween party, he added:

“No sit-down, rubber chicken or boring speeches … all party … reserve a room … stay the night.”

The event will be held on Friday, October 26 at the Citizen Hotel in Sacramento on 926 J Street, approximately 19 miles southwest of Roseville. The fun-filled evening will kick off at 7:30 pm and continue until 11:00 pm.
