Community Recovery Resources holds annual winter fundraiser

February 11, 2017 by

Community Recovery Resources here in Nevada County will be hosting its 9th Annual winter Gala in a few days. The event will be a fundraiser to benefit the organization’s recovery and wellness services for families and teens in our area, and will be a semi-formal affair.

The evening will start with a catered dinner, including desert donated by Off the Vine Catering Company’s Jackie and Dave Hanson. Ed Bonner, Placer County’s Sheriff will be the emcee for the evening.

The program for the gala will honor young people who are presently in recovery. Northern California teens will be speaking on their journey from desperation to hope that reflects what the CRR’s Full Circle Adolescent program is all about. The live and silent auctions will have items donated by local businesses and citizens.

There will also be a raffle with the grand prize of the 2002 Dale Earnhardt Monte Carlo. The car is being donated by Riebes Auto Parts. The winner will surely want a picture taken of themselves with their prize for future poster printing.

Individual tickets can be purchased online at the organization’s website and cost $100 per ticket. Sponsorships are still available at the Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze levels.

The Gala is scheduled for Saturday, February 18 at the Morgan Creek Golf Club 8791 Morgan Creek Lane here in Roseville from 5:30 to 9:00 pm.
