35th Annual Mission Inn Run set for November

October 12, 2012 by

The 35th Annual Mission Inn Run will take place next month in the historical downtown area of Riverside. The annual event promises to provide both runners and spectators with a full day of activities, entertainment, and food. Vendors, musicians and sponsors will all be on hand to offer a fun-filled day of activities, with a Kids’ Fitness Festival, live music, food, a Finish Line Festival, and an awards ceremony among the highlights.

The event actually kicks off on Saturday, November 10, with a Health and Fitness Expo with pre-registration, live demonstrations, packet pick-up, a bench press contest, and numerous booths. However, Sunday’s events on the Main Street Pedestrian Mall are the main attraction. The mall is located between 5th Street and Mission Inn Boulevard. While the race starts promptly at 5:45 am, the other activities will commence 15 minutes later at 6:00 am.

Banner printing and other printing services offered by local printing companies are often used at such events. Some vendors may even elect to use business card printing to provide those in attendance with information about their business. Other businesses located near the hub of the activities also might take the opportunity to reach out to the extra patrons in the area during the event and advertise special promotions with flyer or poster printing.

The Mission Inn Run is for adults and kids and features three certified courses – a 5K, a 10K, and a half marathon. Even mini 1K and ½K race courses are available for young children. Funds raised from the event go to support the Mission Inn Foundation and Museum.
