Redding Chamber to finish May with seminar
May 22, 2012 by Sarah
The month of May will be ending on a high note for members of Redding’s business community with both a seminar and the Summer Golf Classic taking place pretty much one after the other.
As most people have probably figured out by now, communication in the business world is as much about choosing words carefully as it is about projecting competence, professionalism, and know-how. This is doubly important for those attempting to leave a good first impression on prospective investors or clients.
On May 30, the Redding Chamber of Commerce will be addressing this in great detail through its hosting of a workshop entitled “Crossing the Room with Confidence.” Going for a full two hours from 7:30 am to 9:30 am, this content-filled presentation will give attendees something to think about later on. Priced at $25 for chamber members and $50 for guests, the associated costs are certainly reasonable here.
Following the workshop is the Summer Golf Classic taking place June 1. Beginning at 8:30 am and going into the afternoon, this is an excellent opportunity to do some networking while also getting a chance to show off that perfect golf swing. In light of all the work that local printing companies are likely to be doing in preparation for this, business owners may well consider contacting the chamber to discuss sponsorship as well as registration. Considering the turnout that’s being expected and the potential that’s there for fast exposure, this has all the qualities of being an investment worth making.
