Vendor Outreach Workshop being held next week

June 22, 2012 by

Even with the success of the 2012 Spring Swing Golf Tournament still fresh in people’s minds, the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce still is not done for the month.

Things are kicking off pretty quickly, in fact, with the Chamber hosting a Vendor Outreach Workshop on the Tuesday, June 26. As most decision-makers are already aware, the best kind of customer is one that will need the company’s services more than once. While most entrepreneurs have at least a passing familiarity with the value of federal government contracts, municipal government is another option which is well worth a second look. From 10:00 am to 11:30 am, the City’s Purchasing Division will be giving local entrepreneurs the inside track on how everything works.

In this presentation, bid placement, the types of purchases being made, as well as discussion on how service providers can register as vendors are all subjects that will be covered. Since the event is free, business owners have all the more reason to keep an eye out for this event.

Printing companies are probably going to be active in providing a number of different printing services ahead of June 29. Being held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Ontario, the Annual Installation Dinner is an excellent opportunity for members of the local business community who want to show solidarity with the chamber. With networking and cocktails starting at 5:30 pm and dinner beginning an hour later at 6:30 pm, there are additional incentives available to attendees. Any members who are interested in the dinner are advised to contact the chamber for more information.
