Rancho Cucamonga golfers looking forward to ‘Swing De Mayo’
April 7, 2014 by Max
The Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce is once again sponsoring a ‘Swing into Spring’ golfing event. This will mark the 18th year for the The Spring Swing Golf Tournament, which is scheduled for early May and takes place at the Empire Lakes Golf Club located right here in Rancho Cucamonga.
This event lends itself well to wooing prospective clients or enticing former ones back. It is no coincidence that the tournament takes place during Business Appreciation Week. The day of socializing, both for purposes of business and pleasure and combined with sporting fun, begins with a catered breakfast from 7:00 am to 8:00 am. The golfing starts at 9:00 am with a shotgun start using the scramble format.
The cost is $600 per foursome and includes the previously mentioned catered breakfast and BBQ lunch, as well as the use of a golf cart, greens fees, range balls, and commemorative balls. Additionally, participants will be eligible to take part in the Closest-to-Pin Contest and Longest Drive Contest. For an additional $40, a Spring Swing VIP Package is available and includes 20 raffle opportunities.
The event is limited to 144 players, and interested parties should contact the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce. Savvy participants will want to contact their business card printing service if they are running low, because the day will provide numerous networking opportunities.
It takes place on Friday, May 2.
