Residents in Anaheim, including those in nearby Placentia, have the chance to see Jonny Lang in concert this weekend.

Lang is a blues singer and a Grammy winner who experienced success starting at a young age. Prodigious at the age of 15, he was a ‘Billboard New Artist’ chart topper. The now 32-year-old independent artist has been on the stage with legends such as Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, and B.B. King.

In the early 90s, Lang was known for being backed by The Big Bang. For this show, he with be joined by much talked-about rock band Honor By August, whose latest album ‘Monuments to Progress’ came out last April.

Tickets range in price from $40 – $45 plus additional charges. Some ticket packages include a three-course dinner. The meal begins with a salad, and the second course is a choice of surf and turf, chicken marsala, or herb pasta with wild mushrooms. Finally, there is a root beer float dessert. The drink special is a whiskey sour. Dinner culminates 30 minutes before the show.

Local print companies are often kept busy making promotional posters for shows like the Jonny Lang concert. A photo poster of Lang is sure to attract the interest of fans, and flyer printing is another inexpensive choice for advertising the event.

The show takes place this Saturday, January 11 at the City National Grove of Anaheim. Doors open at 6:00 pm for dinner, while the show begins at 8:00 pm.
