Plenty going on in Petaluma this month
July 20, 2012 by James
Petaluma has a busy July ahead with a Sidewalk Sale, a fundraiser, and the monthly Chamber networking breakfast all listed on the calendar this month.
Local printing companies will undoubtedly be busy as the community prepares for the Downtown Merchants Sidewalk Sale. Starting yesterday and scheduled to conclude tomorrow, July 21, this three-day event includes food, entertainment, and the opportunity to shop at a discount. For business owners aiming to promote themselves through this one, flyer printing and poster printing are just two printing services worth inquiring about. With the sale expected to span several streets, residents will have plenty get excited about here.
Following the Sidewalk Sale is the Wilmar Volunteer Fire Department Annual Chicken Barbecue Fundraiser. Taking place at 11:00 am on July 22, this is as good an opportunity as any for Petaluma residents to have fun while also raising money towards a cause that benefits the community. Featuring raffles, games, fire engine rides, and fantastic food, this is the type of fundraiser the whole family can enjoy. Concluding at roughly 4:00 pm, while also giving people the option of packaging their meals, this is one to note in the diary.
Two days later, the Chamber of Commerce will be hosting this month’s “Wake Up Petaluma Breakfast” on July 24. This month, the topic is going to be Deer Creek Village and what the proposed shopping center is all about. Offering great networking opportunities, news, and prizes, this early morning event should be another great chance for local business owners to get plugged in.
