Kids in San Rafael to serve with Santa

December 10, 2013 by

This month, children who like tennis and Santa are in luck. A free holiday tennis festival will be available for kids between the ages of six and ten years old.

Children in San Rafael, and those in surrounding areas such as Petaluma, are invited to grab a racket, learn some new skills, and play some tennis games. Players who are inexperienced should not worry, since there will be elves to help novice players learn the game. Of course, children will also have the opportunity to play tennis with Santa.

Free toys will be offered to the first 100 registrants. In addition, a free United States Tennis Association membership will be given to participants. Music, games, popcorn, and apple cider are some of the other perks at the event.

The Northern California Section of the United States Tennis Association is sponsoring this holiday tennis festival. ‘10 and Under Tennis’ will be putting on the event, and the organization utilizes tools like slow-moving balls and smaller rackets and court to make the game more suitable for a younger child’s ability. This is a great opportunity for these organizations to attract more business, and it is likely they will use printing services for flyers to promote the event.

The festival will take place at the Marinwood park tennis courts in San Rafael on December 14 at 12:00 pm. In the event of rain, the festival will be held at the Miller Creek Gymnasium.
