Golf and good food dished out in Petaluma

August 19, 2012 by

With the Hospice Golf Classic, Taste of Petaluma, and the Wake Up Petaluma Breakfast taking place in the coming days, local printing companies are bound to have their work cut out for them.

Members of the community are getting a first-class opportunity to lend support to the Hospice of Petaluma through this year’s Hospice Golf Classic. Taking place this Friday, August 24, this golf tournament’s reputation precedes it in more ways than one. It begins at an unusually early hour, with tee-off at 7:00 am and breakfast and registration being hosted at the Rooster Run Golf Club. With dinner included later on, this all-day affair is already looking like an event that residents can support fully.

Priced at $225 for golfers, there will be plenty of opportunities here to make new friends and play a few rounds in a low-key atmosphere.

The work will probably continue for brochure printers and local print companies with ‘Taste of Petaluma’ coming up on Saturday, August 25. From the perspective of local business professionals, this is an excellent chance for chefs, restaurants, and other members of the food service industry to show potential customers what they are made of. From a marketing perspective, there is something to be said for putting in an effort here. Since turnout is expected to be fairly solid, there are clear incentives for investing in quality promotional materials ahead of this one.

Finally, the month wraps up with this month’s ‘Wake Up Petaluma Breakfast’ taking place on August 28. Those who want to attend are being asked to RSVP.
