Networking and forum available to Oceanside professionals
March 20, 2012 by James
Workshops and networking events are all options for Oceanside business owners and professionals in the upcoming weeks. The only issue is going to be picking which ones to register for.
Kicking off on the 27th, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce is going to be hosting “Plates for 8”. Convenient in that attendees will only need to bring a dozen pieces of business card printing , this event represents a golden opportunity for local entrepreneurs and professionals to meet with one another in a more intimate setting. Starting at 11:30am and ending at roughly 1:00pm, business owners have a unique opportunity to pitch the decision makers of local companies over lunch.
Interestingly enough, the chamber will be also be hosting its March Mixer at Rockin’ Baja Coastal Cantina. Expected to begin at 5:00pm and to end around 2 hours later at 7:00pm, members of the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce have the option of registering and paying online with a discount. With food being provided by the host and the costs, a very reasonable $10 for those choosing to pay at the door, this exclusive event represents a fantastic opportunity to acquire a whole lot of contacts in one evening.
Following all of this up in early April is a “Business Financing/Business Lenders Forum” that’s being put on by North County’s Small Business Development Center. Beginning at 10:00am and going up until noon, this workshop is free to attend.
No matter what an individual is looking for, there’s plenty going on here.
