Chick-fil-A giveaway attracted overnight guests

Campers started lining up outside of the new Chic-fil-A restaurant in Encinitas, just south of Oceanside, to celebrate the store’s grand opening and giveaway promotion a day early. The grand opening of the new location may not have been scheduled until Thursday, November 8, but customers were lining up in the parking lot as early as the morning of November 7. In fact, the parking lot of the restaurant looked more like a campgrounds area as a number of tents started springing up that morning. Even before noon the day before the store was to open, campers were tossing footballs, playing cards, and enjoying the festive feel of the day.
These loyal Chik-fil-A customers were anxiously awaiting the opening of the restaurant chain’s seventh location in the county for a chance to participate in the restaurant’s ‘First 100 Celebration’. The promotion gave away free food vouchers to the first 100 people who were in line at the grand opening event. These vouchers were not just for a couple of free sandwiches, however. The customers who were lucky enough to be one of the first 100 received an entire year’s supply of coupons for the number one combo meal at Chick-fil-A. Each person left with 52 coupons for an original Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich, a drink, and waffle fries—one meal for each week of the year.
Grand opening celebrations and special promotions typically use local printing companies to supply a number of printing services. Banner printing is often used to welcome guests, while flyer printing and poster printing can help advertise special promotions.
