The Valley Performing Arts Center at Cal State in Northridge recently announced its spring lineup, with exciting and famous names like Bebe Neuwirth, Willie Nelson, and Kenny Rogers announced as headliners.

Robert Bucker, the Valley Performing Arts’ executive director and dean at the Mike Curb College of Arts, stated:

“We are very excited about the performers coming to the Valley Performing Arts Center during the spring semester. We believe we have gathered a very diverse and exciting series of exceptional artists from around the world that stimulate and entertain while exhibiting exceptional artistry. Our series will again present artists just beginning to receive international recognition and those that are at the pinnacle of their performance careers.”

Big name headliners and other entertainment at such events draw large crowds to the area, presenting an opportunity for area businesses to draw in a little extra business. With such prestigious names headlining the spring season at the Valley Performing Arts Center, local business owners are likely to act by running various additional advertisements and promotions with banner printing, flyer printing and other advertising means in the days leading up to the event.

The season at the Valley Performing Arts Center opened yesterday, January 23, with the Monterey Jazz Festival. The legendary Kenny Rogers is scheduled as a marquee performance on March 17. Bebe Neurith, who won an Emmy for her role as Lillith on ‘Cheers’, will appear on February 23. Country great Willie Nelson will appear on February 27 with his family.
