Los Angeles residents learn about summer camps

February 9, 2014 by

Later today, the 2014 Summer Opportunities Fair will give parents plenty of information about overnight camps and other summer options for kids and young adults.

Tips on Trips and Camps gives advice about sleepover camps and other seasonal opportunities for ages 8 to 18. At the fair, parents and children can meet the program directors and talk to consultants about the many options for summer. For the last 10 years, the organization has used this informative fair to help families in Los Angeles.

Along with conventional overnight camps, those in attendance can learn more about creative programs, performing arts, and sports camps. In addition, information about summer internships, academic programs, and community service opportunities is also available.

Residents in Los Angeles County, including those in Northridge, have the opportunity to attend this valuable event. It is likely event organizers have asked print companies to make flyers to get the word out about the summer opportunities fair.

This event will take place today from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. Those who cannot make it to the fair can call (310) 202-8448 for a free phone consultation with Jill Leven.

For a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card, parents can RSVP on the Tips on Trips and Camps website. They can also look at the programs, view summer advice, and read testimonials.
