An un-pho-gettable night awaits

Vietnamese cuisine and a variety of music in an intimate setting are what Northridge residents can look forward to as the weekend begins.

Bryan Chan and Friends’ Music Showcase is arriving shortly at the Pho-King Delicious Vietnamese Restaurant. The eatery serves a variety of traditional ethnic dishes along with contemporary favorites. Soups, sandwiches, salads, spring rolls, and noodles can be enjoyed there, as well as the namesake pho beef noodle soup.

Acts slated to perform include Bryan Chan and Jimmy Eaton, Wicked Saints, and James Russell & Brian Alan Patterson. Chan and Eaton have a deep respect and love for blues, which they will be showing throughout their set. Wicked Saints play an eclectic blend of folk-rock Americana with a Deep South vibe. Lastly, Russell and Patterson, from the group South of Ziggy, have an immersive feel to their ‘Country Soul’ pieces.

Local businesses wanting to show their support for the artists and the Northridge community might be able to help spread the word. Flyer printing and brochure printing services can take proper advantage of this opportunity. Poster printing would be much appreciated as well, and posting in high traffic areas will is likely to gain the performers, Pho-King Delicious, and the businesses positive and potentially lucrative attention.

The Showcase kicks off at 7:00 pm on Friday, August 16, at Pho-King Delicious, 9350 Corbin Ave, Northridge, CA 91324. Performances will continue until 10:00 pm, no entry-fee is collected, and all ages are welcome. Call 818.882.8789 for menu and event information.
