July 12, 2013 by

The Grasshopper and the Ants Show will be presented later this month by Swazzle; a puppet company dedicated to keeping the art of puppetry alive by presenting live puppet shows that encourage positive messages for young people.

Flyer printing, and other printing services offered by local print companies, may have been used to share the information about this special show with people in this community and the surrounding regions.

This special performance has limited seating, so people are encouraged to arrive early to obtain a seat. The puppet performance will be based on the classic fable of the same name.

During the show, children will see the grasshopper. who plays a fiddle and lives as the moment arises while the ants work hard to build up a food supply for the winter months. During the performance, the grasshopper mesmerizes one small ant, until the queen arrives and chases him back to work, while the queen tells the grasshopper about how much trouble he will be in when winter comes. When winter arrives, the grasshopper is in dire straits and comes to the ants for help.

This is a free event, although guests are urged to arrive early to get a seat. The Grasshopper and the Ant Show will be performed on Thursday, July 25 at 4:00 pm at the Norco Public Library located at 3954 Old Hamner Avenue in Norco, California. To learn more about this event, or the puppeteer, please visit the website or call the Norco Library at 951-735-6329.
