A great day ahead for equine education

September 20, 2013 by

For any equine-appreciative locals, this weekend’s Certified Horsemanship Association Region 10 Conference will provide a day of educational activities and demonstrations all centered on horses and horsemanship. People in the area are encouraged to come out and learn more about these animals, and should not be surprised to see poster and flyer printing examples to keep them updated.

The event promises a fun and educational day and includes guests speakers, a silent auction, an assortment of vendors, riding demonstrations, and private riding lessons. Riders must register for the event, bring their own horse and tack, and be at least nine years of age. They must also be able to jog, walk, trot, canter, and lope their horses.

Ideal for people who love to ride or watch horses perform, spectators can purchase tickets online in advance and must bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. Spectator tickets include a free luncheon on the grounds, if tickets are purchased in advance. People who purchase tickets at the door must pay $8 for lunch tickets. Attendees are reminded that the event will take place in rain or shine, so to dress sensibly, and that dogs are not permitted.

The event will be happening tomorrow, September 21, at the CRK Training Stable located at 18245 Bastanchury Road in Yorba Linda, California, just down the road from Norco. To learn more about the day, please visit the Certified Horsemanship Association Conference 2013 website or call 714-693-4886.
