Marathon invites competitors next month

An epic summer fun run is due to take place on in early June, close to Sorrento Valley, California, and is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.

The Rock ‘n Roll San Diego Marathon offers a full marathon for the super fit, a half marathon for those who prefer a little less grueling experience, and even a relay race for those who prefer to do it in pairs.

Starting out from 6th Avenue and Quince Street, the Marathon runners must be ready for an early morning start at 6:15 am on the day, with the half marathoners and relay runners getting another 30 minutes as they will start at 6:45 am.

Runners, walkers and spectators will be treated to lots of entertainment, with many live, local bands keeping the party going along the course, as promised with the whole theme of the “rock ‘n Roll” marathon.

An expo will take place prior to the marathon with over 60 exhibitors, many giving out free samples. The expo will showcase heath information, nutritional supplements, running gear, and sports clothing.

There is an after race party planned for participants, family, and friends to enjoy with refreshments and terrific live music at the finish line, putting a little life back into even the most weary of runners.

Banner printing becomes a focal task for printing companies for large marathon events, as the banners are used to direct the runners through the marathon route efficiently. Banners are printed on heavy vinyl so they can withstand any weather elements.

More information on the June 2 event can be found on its website.
