Spring date scheduled for Race on the Base
November 27, 2013 by Mark
The event consists of triathlon events, including 5K runs and walks, 10K runs, 10K skate/hand cycle/wheelchair events, a 1K children’s run, and a reverse triathlon.
More than 8,000 spectators and participants are expected at the 2014 event, along with at least 50 vendors, who typically use local print companies to prepare materials to promote their booth spaces. Flyer printing services can ensure vendors have material to hand out at the event, while banner printers often help to create the signage needed for the booths, specifying the vendor name, logo, product, and other pertinent information.
Vendors will hand out logo items and fun giveaways for booth visitors. Exhibitors include musicians, business services, food, medical services, and supplies, along with dozens of industries and companies.
The Cancer Support Foundation, California National Guard, and the City of Los Alamitos are looking for sponsors for the event. Those that come forward will have the benefit of having direct contact with the attendees. They also will be included in a customized marketing program and have vendor privileges. For more information on sponsorships, vendor applications, and marketing programs call (562) 430-1073 x500.
The race event will take place on February 22, 2014, and volunteers are still needed to help coordinate and manage this huge race. For complete information, visit the Race on the Base website.
