Seal Beach offers the gift of good health

Seal Beach, located about 10 minutes from downtown Los Alamitos, will host the 7th Annual ‘Be More Healthy Expo’ this month. The event is hosted by the Seal Beach Lions Club and the Seal Beach Chamber each year.
The event attracts thousands of attendees and offers more than 75 vendors featuring their health and wellness products, arts and crafts, and food items. Vendors exhibiting at events like this will often call up the services of a local print company to prepare needed materials for the expo. Vendor space is currently available and can be reserved by contacting 562-888-0298.
A main focus at the event is the free health screening opportunities. Scan will provide stroke screenings and the Seal Beach Lions plans to have the Sight and Hearing van onsite. Other screenings are also scheduled for the day.
Educational resources will be available for wellness topics such as family health. Adults can peruse the various materials and services, while children enjoy the many activities specially presented for them.
Returning for the second year as Community Sponsors, Long Beach Memorial and Millers Children’s Hospital of Long Beach, have partnered with the expo. The hospital has been serving the community since 1924.
The ‘Be More Healthy Expo’ will take place March 22 beginning at 9:00 am at Old Town Seal Beach Pier.
