Cities in Orange County are partnering with various nonprofit organizations and business groups to bring the program ‘100 Businesses for 100 Days’ to the area.
The event is scheduled for January 19 from 8:30 am until 1:00 pm at Concordia University, located in Irvine – approximately 22 miles southeast of Los Alamitos. The program is open to businesses in Orange County and throughout Southern California.
This will be the first regional version of the program. Over 2,000 cities and businesses have participated in it since it began in 2010, organizers report. Earlier efforts have been hosted by Newport Beach, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, and San Bernardino. The program is designed to assist businesses with a variety of business management and marketing methods, including brand loyalty and significance, building a diverse team, “value proposition”, natural marketing, and selling.
The program, developed by Opis Network, provides struggling businesses with guidance and provides business owners with a blueprint for success. Six teleseminars and three live classes will be held after the initial event on January 18. Businesses participating in the program will be contacted every 10 days.
Cities are asked to provide marketing materials, which might include poster printing, flyer printing, or a number of other documents. Admission for the event on January 18 is $20 and includes a continental breakfast. Businesses at the event will be given an opportunity to be a part of the 100-day program. Some businesses may even qualify to participate for free.
