A premier lineup of speakers has been put together for the 2013 Scuba Show at the Long Beach Convention Center this weekend. There will be plenty of information here for everyone, with neither novice nor experienced divers being left out.

The event will encompass over 76,000 square feet of exhibitors and demonstrations, with more than $20,000 to be given away as door prizes. Included in this year’s show is the 2013 Scuba Show Film Festival with films shown all day both on Saturday and Sunday.

There will be educational and entertaining seminars offered by some of the top scuba diving experts. All-day seminar passes are only $25 at the door.

Speakers include Dave Allen of Electric Blue Media, which has produced film of some of the most magnificent dive destinations and marine life in the world. Advanced diver Gretchen M. Ashton, who is also a nutrition and fitness therapy specialist, will be there too.

Other notable guests include Steven M. Barsky, who works as a diving accident investigator and is an expert witness for diving accidents. He is also the president of Hammerhead Press and Marine Marketing and Consulting. Trevor Cook, meanwhile, is the scuba chef for California Diving News and produces a monthly recipe column using sustainable California seafood as ingredients. Expect plenty of digital business cards to do the rounds throughout the weekend.

A special Scuba Show app has been created to help participants plan their visit and features a list of events, seminars, and films. For more information, visit the Scuba Show website.
