MemorialCare Medical opened a new urgent care center in Los Altos on Wednesday, January 9, with Officials of MemorialCare Medical saying the new facility was created in an effort to improve convenient healthcare availability in the surrounding area, including Orange County, Long Beach, and the South Bay area.

The new MemorialCare urgent care center is located at 2110 Bellflower Boulevard in the Los Altos MarketCenter at Stearns Street. Diana Hendel, who serves as the chief executive officer for Community Hospital Long Beach, Long Beach Memorial, and Miller Children’s Hospital, stated:

“Establishing this new medical facility is critical for the communities we serve. It addresses the need for additional primary care physicians today and in the future.”

When medical facilities such as the new urgent care center in Los Altos open up, efforts to reach out to individuals in and throughout the surrounding communities are generally made through a variety of means. Companies such as MemorialCare may choose to circulate word about the new facility through flyer printing, postcard printing and other printing services. Digital business cards are another way to reach out to community members and keep them informed.

The new urgent care facility is a two-story building that was formerly the home of a Borders bookstore. The building encompasses 30,000 square feet of space. Physicians at the urgent care center specialize in a variety of health services, including internal medicine, family medicine and pediatrics. X-ray and laboratory services are also available at the facility.
