Animal antics on the way to Long Beach

December 19, 2013 by

The 2014 Southern California Amazing Pet Expos will take place in Long Beach in February at the Long Beach Convention Center. This is an indoor event that offers free admission and $10 parking.

Visitors are encouraged to bring pets, including dogs, birds or other animals as long as they can prove their immunizations are up to date. Dogs must be on non-retractable leads for the safety of attendees and other pets and should be friendly.

Shorty Rossi will put in an appearance, along with his pitbull pal, Hercules. The ‘Pit Boss’ Star is frequently seen on Animal Planet and other television shows. Agility, obedience training, care and activism will be part of the day’s featured activities.

Giveaways, great prizes, and discounts on popular pet products will be offered during the expo. A talent contest, along with a costume competition, will entertain adults and children.

For those looking for the new forever pet, a mega-adoption event will be included. Banfield Pet Hospitals will display over 300 animals up for adoption. Immunizations, along with micro chipping services, will be offered at discounted rates.

Poster printing will no doubt be sought by many of the event participants and organizers in advance of the expo. The posters will need to look attractive when printed on heavy paper stock in full color with a glossy finish, and can also be rolled into cylindrical tubes and sold or given away at the event as a souvenir.

The 2014 Southern California Amazing Pet Expos will take place February 1 from 10:00am to 6:0 pm. Admission is free. Visit the event website for more details.
