Panache Salon celebrates its 25th anniversary
June 4, 2013 by Sarah
Panache Salon wound up its month long festivites with an open house featuring food tasting and live music last Thursday, May 30.
The store first opened its doors in 1988 on Lancaster Boulevard with only three stylists. Owner Shirley Griffiths and her husband Brian purchased the building in which their salon was based and expanded the business in 2009.
“It is not easy owning your own business in good times or bad, but it is very rewarding. I am blessed to have the support of my family, friends, staff and clients. Without this, it would have been impossible to have stayed in business for 25 years.”
Since that time, the salon has grown to become a full service salon with 24 staff members who offer a full range of retail products as well as haircuts, facials, nail care, massages and skin care.
Panache is located at 747 West Lancaster Boulevard, Lancaster. For more information call (661) 942-8737.
Looking and feeling tip-top appears to be a theme at the moment, and Lancaster residents can get their bodies looking as good as their hair and nails by taking on 24 Hour Fitness’ 15-day fitness challenge. It got underway yesterday, June 3, and there will be a new fitness challenge offered each day through the program’s Facebook page.
Keeping track of daily fitness goals and healthy eating habits is easily accomplished by visiting a local printing company and creating a custom diary, even for those who find the targets themselves a challenge.
