Still time to get fit this month

For those who have procrastinated on the New Year’s resolution to get in shape, it is not too late.

A jump start on physical fitness can be made with the Body Sculpting Boot Camp taking place tomorrow, March 24, at 9:00 am. This is an outdoor exercise and strength training class that pushes group participants in order to achieve the results they want.

Sessions are taught by a team of wellness coaches at Pittsford Park, 21701 Pittsford Drive, Lake Forest. Its mission is to change the nutrition and health of the world person-by-person. Admission is free. For more information, call (949) 463-6549.

After exercising, participants can rejuvenate their energy at the free qigong class at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 26 at the Villari’s Martial Arts Center, 22642 Lambert Street in Lake Forest.

This ancient eastern practice was recommended by Dr. Oz on Oprah Wifrey’s show some years ago. The practice is said to revitalize a person’s own energy and help them to heal themselves naturally.

The course will be led by Master Bombalier who is a certified as a Master of Chinese Medical qigong. Simple exercises will incorporate movements with breathing techniques. Other benefits of qigong are said to include weight loss, stress reduction, better sleep, lower blood pressure, and a better immune system.

A good way to keep track of an exercise schedule is to use preprinted forms from local print companies. If such forms are not quite right for the job, printing companies can help create custom ones.
