Snow Fest returning to Lake Forest

January 18, 2014 by

Lake Forest residents will have a chance to experience some snowy winter fun right in their neighborhood later this month

The city’s annual Snow Fest will be returning to Pittsford Park, and everyone is invited to attend. The highlight of the event is the hill of imported snow which everyone with a pre-purchased wrist band can sled down.

The event is likely to be so popular that advanced registration is required for anyone who plans on taking part in the sledding. Those hoping to purchase a ticket the day of the event are likely to be disappointed since tickets are expected to sell out before the snow arrives. Tickets are $5 per sledder. Attendees will be required to choose their sledding session at the time of registration. More information is available on the Lake Forest city website.

A community event that requires advance registration can always benefit from creating informative promotional materials. A flyer printing campaign is oneway to spread the word about an event and its registration requirements so that no one shows up on the day only to be disappointed they can’t join in the fun.
Taking place on January 25, ledding will be broken up into three sessions of one hour and fifteen minutes each. The first session will begin at 11:00 am, and the last session will end at 3:45 pm. Children under the age of five will be able to play in their own snowy area, which will be open for the duration of the event. There will also be a variety of local vendors on hand, and affordable snacks will also be available.
