Shop & Dine Week on the horizon

August 10, 2012 by

Lake Forest has quite a bit going on, with the Chamber hosting its next roundtable luncheon and the upcoming ‘Shop & Dine Week’ expected to take place shortly afterwards. Consequently, both businesspeople and residents will have options to look forward to this August.

Things began today, August 10, with the Chamber hosting this month’s “On the Road Networking Luncheon” right here in Lake Forest at Liberty Tax Services. Taking place on August 10 and going from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm once again, this offers yet another legitimate chance for business professionals to connect with one another while also picking up valuable information from other experienced individuals. With a topic like ‘Strategic Account Management’, the content of this discussion will definitely be practical on a number of levels.

With costs set at $25 for guests and $15 for Lake Forest Chamber Members, the fees were also within range for most people. The fact that Bagels & Brew provided lunch simply added to this event when it was announced.

The activity then continues from there with ‘Shop & Dine Week’ running next week, going from August 12 – 19. Free to attend, the city’s decision to open with ‘The Taste of Lake Forest’ is one that makes it possible for local restaurants and chefs to show off their skills and do some self-promotion in the process. With products like business card printing and flyer printing probably being required for both of these events, the printing services of local print companies will no doubt be needed sooner or later this month.
