Laguna Niguel in for a busy and festive weekend

December 5, 2012 by

Laguna Niguel’s annual Holiday Parade will take place this Saturday, December 8, on Crown Valley Parkway between Crown Valley Community Park and Nueva Vista.

The theme this year is Honoring Our Heroes and will be reflected in the parade entries of youth groups, equestrian units, marching bands, auto clubs, and floats. The parade will begin at 10:00 am. For more information, call (949) 425-5100.

Also this weekend, the Mount of Olives church will feature a drive-through nativity on Friday, December 7 and Saturday, December 8 from 6:00 pm – 10:00 p.m. This event will feature live animals and can be heard through the car radio. This free event has been a local treat since 1994. Donations of non-perishable and canned foods will be accepted during the event to refill local non-profit food pantries for families in need.

Moving ahead to next weekend, The Mount of Olives annual family Holiday Show ‘PO!EMA’ will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, December 14 at the church in Mission Viejo. Canned food items will also be collected during this event. Live entertainment will include performances by Street Beat, a group of dancers, singers, drummers, and group percussionists. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the event, which is geared towards all ages

No doubt all of these events will be promoted through banner printing, and a great way to stay in touch with family and friends this holiday season is with custom Christmas cards, which are available at most print companies.
