Laguna Nigel Halloween fun

October 24, 2012 by

It is a scary time to be in Laguna Nigel, with all sorts of hair-raising happenings going on over the next few days. With so much going on, poster printing is likely to have been out in force in the area.

Firstly, the haunted trails at Crown Valley Community Park start at 6:30 pm from October 25 – 27. This haunted tour takes visitors through mazes and tents inhabited by the Rabid Rabbit and the Mad Leprechaun. Brave souls should wear comfortable walking shoes and regular street clothes so they are not mistaken for a ghoul.

Admission here is £10, although the tour is not recommended for kids under the age of eight. For more information call (949) 362-4351 x 1.

Over in San Juan Capistrano, even the swallows will be hiding from the ghost tour which will take place at 6:30 pm, 7:00 pm, and 7:30 pm this Saturday, October 27. A natural setting and ghostly tales create the fear in this adventure.

Hosted by the Historical Society Walking Tour, the ghost tour will explore the oldest residential neighborhood in California, Los Rios Street. Visitors will be regaled with ghost tales of strange headless monks, creepy black dogs, and the mysterious lady in white.

Admission is $5 for adults $3 for children, with advance reservations required and able to be made by calling (949) 493-8444. Guests should meet and pay at the O’Neill Museum, located at 31831 Los Rios Street. Glow-in-the-dark accessories will make it easier to keep track of the family members on this adventure.
